HATTIE REDMOND APARTMENTS

Home Forward and Urban League partnered together to develop the Hattie Redmond Apartments. The building houses previously houseless and displaced Kenton neighborhood residents. Each resident is provided with a studio unit equipped with a full bathroom and kitchen. Resident service operations complete the ground floor with a community room and kitchen. Residents and staff can enjoy the view of a distant Forest Park from the roof deck or hangout with family in the ground floor courtyard. 

The pair of gable roofs tie into the surrounding neighborhood of pitched roof homes. Exterior walls of warm, cream toned brick provide a connection between the neighborhood’s historic brick buildings and the present need to densify for housing.
