SLABTOWN FLATS

Slabtown Flats is an 80-unit market-rate housing development in Portland’s Slabtown neighborhood. This quarter-block building features ground floor retail, a mechanized parking stacker, courtyard patios, and a sixth-floor roof terrace with resident lounge. Subtle brick detailing, with dark windows and metal accents, makes a nod to the neighborhood’s industrial past. The sixth floor roof terrace and lounge provide residents with sweeping views of Portland’s Forest Park and Fremont bridge. 

The common areas of the building also contain elements of Slabtown’s history with raw wood accents, tufted leather, dark stone, and custom murals. In the units, a large barn door creates a dramatic separation between the bedroom and living room.
